What a wonderful first few months with the position as Assistant General Manager.

Hi, I’m Linda Kowcharlie, I’m from Kuujjuaraapik, Qc. And I used to be one of the Board members of Qarjuit representing the Hudson youth for 2 and a half years before attempting to apply for this position which I have to say, I am so happy I took. Being a Board Member was an amazing experience in itself which gave me the opportunity to learn the things I would’ve never learnt so I would love to thank all the amazing people I got to work with, within those 2 and half years.

Getting into this position has been such an experience, in the most positive way. I truly feel that Qarjuit is an aspiring, young organization that has the patience and tools to be able to teach anyone that is willing

to take a leap and learn! The team at QYC has been nothing but supportive and understanding. I would love to thank every single one of them.

Taking on this position is a very new experience for me in terms of my responsibilities to the youth and my everyday work. I will continue to work hard for the youth of Nunavik and Chisasibi. I am eager, excited and proud of myself, to wake up every day and get the chance to work with you. Thank you!
